Michael Wurl Larson holds an MFA in Acting & Directing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. As an actor, he has appeared Off-Broadway at the Pearl Theatre (The Little Prince), Off-Off-Broadway at The Ohio Theatre (Heterosexuals), The Westbeth Theatre (Bedtime), Guerrilla Shakespeare Project (The Taming of the Shrew) and regionally at Starlight Theatre (Big River), The MUNY (Oliver! w/ Davy Jones of The Monkees), Baltimore Shakespeare Festival (Twelfth Night) and Kansas City Repertory Theatre (The Comedy of Errors) among others. He recently wrapped a major video game for Rockstar due for release in 2019. He has booked national on-camera and voiceover commercials for Bud Light (Super Bowl), AT&T, Volvo, Nike and Tums and appeared in The Sketch Pad, a pilot starring Fred Willard and Wendy Liebman. Recent directing credits for the stage include The Glass Menagerie at The Players Guild of Leonia and West Side Story with Summer Stage of Leonia. He is Co-Founder and Executive Producer of Hang a Tale, an Off-Broadway theatre company in New York City. With Hang a Tale he has produced The Dumb Waiter, The Winter's Tale, The Little Prince (nominated for an 2015 Off-Broadway Alliance Award), Insignificance and, most recently, Hold These Truths at The Sheen Center.
