Jen Segner began dancing at the age of 3. She was a member of her studio competition team and the captain of her high school dance team. She graduated in 2009 with a BFA degree in Dance from Rutgers University (Mason Gross School of the Arts). During her tenure in college, she worked with many famous teachers and choreographers including David Dorfman, Steven Petronio, Randy James, Reagan Woods, Julia Ritter, John Evans and Paulette Sears. Jen has performed in New York City at Dance New Amsterdam and at several other Manhattan venues. She also has danced for several modern dance companies and performance groups in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, both during and after college. Currently, Jen teaches Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical & other styles of dance to students ages 3-18. Teaching has always been her passion! Jen is also a trained Barre Fitness instructor, currently teaching at BodyBurn Barre in Tenafly.
