Jolene Perry

Ms. Perry has trained with some of New York's best and brightest masters including Luigi, Bill Hastings, Tony Stevens, and the Paul Taylor and Martha Graham Schools. Ms. Perry has performed in several modern companies, including Principal Dancer with the Alaska Contemporary Company and the Center Dance Ensemble in Phoenix, Arizona.
She has toured extensively both nationally and internationally in Musical Theater and in Modern Companies, in such shows as WEST SIDE STORY, OKLAHOMA, THE ROBBER BRIDEGROOM, PIPPIN, and FUNNY GIRL, to name a few. Ms. Perry's teaching credits include Broadway Dance Center, Manhattan Dance Theater, and Studio Maestro in New York City, and the Conservatory of Dance in Anchorage, Alaska. She has also taught master workshops in Jazz and Tap throughout California.

Serena Cefalu
Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Theater Dance
This is Serena's 9th year with Progressive Dance Studio as a teacher. She is from California where she began to dance and perform. Along the way, she won many awards and scholarships which inspired her to pursue a career as a professional performer. Now as an adult Serena has been performing, teaching, choreographing and judging competitions and pageants. She has a strong technical background in all major dance forms specifically Ballet, Jazz (including Luigi technique), Tap and Musical Theater.
A graduate of the Musical Theater program at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in NYC, she brings with her a wealth of knowledge about performing in multiple styles of the dance art form. Serena works with children from the age of 4 all the way up to adults and continues to produce award winning solo and group choreography. Her professional credits include: Hairspray ( Tracy ), The Tap Dancing Christmas Trees, American Gospel Music Awards (featured dancer), Suessical the Musical, Carmen, Evolution of Dance, All That Jazz, and has participated in the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Jennifer Manino
Genres: Ballet 
Jennifer Manino is a graduate of The Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida. Her extensive professional career has included eight consecutive seasons with The Metropolitan Opera Ballet in New York City. She also danced with Columbia City Ballet performing soloist and principal roles and toured as a trainee with the Joffrey Ballet. Throughout her career, Ms. Manino has had the opportunity to work with Septime Webre, Mark Godden, Lynne Charles, Sergei Gritsai, Mia Michaels, Stephanie Ballard, Edward Morgan and many other distinguished artists.
Ms. Manino was a founding member of American Contemporary Ballet, which is now based in California. She studied at renowned schools such as the Joffrey Ballet School, Walnut Hill School for the Arts, Pacific Northwest Ballet, School of American Ballet and Boston Ballet. She also was chosen to perform with the Moscow Ballet in the Nutcracker when she was studying at the Harid Conservatory. In addition, Ms. Manino graduated magna cum laude from New York University receiving a Bachelor of Science degree. She is also a faculty member of the Joffrey Ballet School’s childrens’ division.

Arleigh Rothenberg

Arleigh Rothenberg began dancing at the age of 7 and has experience in a multitude of dance genres. Currently, Arleigh tap dances at The Cotton Club weekly, as a member of Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards’ Sophisticated Ladies. She has also performed at the world famous Apollo Theatre in “Taste of Broadway” (2009 and 2010) as a member of the Young Hoofers, and performed in Derick K. Grant’s Imagine Tap! at Rodeph Sholom in NYC, February 2010.
Recent Television and Video Credits include the Malibu Rum “Funky Dip” Flashmob Commercial, choreographed by Tweetie, tap dancing on Sesame Street’s 2009/2010 40th Season, dancing in the STEP UP 3D Official Dance Dub Broadway Dance Center Video, (section choreographed by Michelle Dorrance), and appearing in the recently released films Step Up 3D (2010) and Eat, Pray, Love (2010).

Mary Ann Hodnett
Genres: Hip Hop, Jazz, Creative Movement
Mary Ann Hodnett has been a dance educator for over 20 years and has shared her passion in over a dozens dance studios and educational institutions in Oklahoma , Colorado , New Jersey and South Dakota . She graduated cum laude from Oklahoma City University , with a degree in Dance Management. In college she interned with Ballet Oklahoma creating a curriculum guide for their outreach program which garnered her an award from the Miss America Organization for her service.
Having the desire to train with top educators and gain performing experience, Ms. Hodnett moved to NYC in 1999. Highlights of her NYC dance career include; NSYNC at the Women’s World Cup Soccer at Giants Stadium, MTV Music Awards for Radiohead, and choreographed and performed for Daphna Dove (Rockstar INXS), and FAMA awards at Lincoln Center . She also had the opportunity to train with the best teachers at Broadway Dance Center , Steps on Broadway and the Isadora Duncan School . Other highlights of her performing career include the Denver Nuggets Dance Team and High Performance Dance Theatre of Colorado.
After receiving professional training and experience, Miss Mary Ann returned home to share her passion. She spent a decade in the Black Hills of South Dakota where she owned the dance studio, Pure Form Dance, pioneering hip hop dance education in the area. She was very active in the community serving as a choreographer for the Black Hills Community Theatre, Rapid City Rush Hockey Dance Team, Dakota Dance Company, and served as a board member for the Black Hills Dance Theatre.
She teaches a variety of styles including; ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, a myriad of styles of hip hop, creative movement, and hoop dance. Ms. Hodnett continues to grow and nurture her knowledge of dance as an art form and a healthy expression of life.

Kimberly Morris
Genres: Ballet 
Kimberly Morris has been studying various dance techniques since she was 5 yrs. old. She studied intensively with Leonid Kozlov and Valentina Kozlova, both former dancers with the Bolshoi and NYC ballets, before joining the Joffrey Ballet School where she earned credits towards a BFA in dance and performed various ballets with the company's ensemble company at Tribeca Theater in NYC.
Kimberly has also performed as a freelance dancer in numerous venues throughout NYC and Bergen County. She started teaching ballet in 2007 while she attended William Paterson University, earning a NJ teaching certificate.
Since then, she has taught classical ballet throughout Bergen County to children of all ages. In 2011, Kimberly moved to Tours, France where she taught dance for ESL and performed with Compagnie Xpress. Kimberly returned to NJ in 2012 and is happy to be back teaching ballet again.
