Jolene Perry

Ms. Perry has trained with some of New York’s best and brightest masters – including Luigi, Bill Hastings, Tony Stevens, and the Paul Taylor and Martha Graham Schools. Ms. Perry has performed in several modern companies, including Principal Dancer with the Alaska Contemporary Company and the Center Dance Ensemble in Phoenix, Arizona. She has toured extensively both nationally and internationally in Musical Theater and in Modern Companies, in such shows as WEST SIDE STORY, OKLAHOMA, THE ROBBER BRIDEGROOM, PIPPIN, and FUNNY GIRL, to name a few. Ms. Perry’s teaching credits include Broadway Dance Center, Manhattan Dance Theater, and Studio Maestro in New York City, and the Conservatory of Dance in Anchorage, Alaska. She has also taught master workshops in Jazz and Tap throughout California.

Bill Hastings
(Jazz, Modern, Theater Dance)
 

has performed in over forty musicals and plays including the Broadway and National Tour productions of THE MOST HAPPY FELLA, A CHRORUS LINE, CABARET, RAGS, BOB FOSSE’S DANCIN’, and SWEET CHARITY. Mr. Hastings has also performed at RADIO CITY Music Hall in both the CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR and the EASTER EXTRAVAGANZA; and for T.V. on the MISS AMERICA PAGEANT and several commercials. Mr. Hastings has CHOREOGRAPHED OVER FORTY PRODUCTIONS for U.S., European, and Japanese theater, television, video, industrial, and concert dance companies, including PETER PAN, THE KING AND I, DAMES AT SEA, THE PAJAMA GAME, MY FAIR LADY, WHERE’S CHARLEY? THE BOYFRIEND, THE WIZ, and GREASE among others; plus THE FOUR MINUTE EGG and CONGA for DANCE KALEIDOSCOPE and PINK TOFU for ARTS IN MOTION. During his professional career, Mr. Hastings has had the privilege to work with such dance luminaries as BOB FOSSE, MICHAEL BENNETT, GRACIELA DANIELE, RON FIELD, SCOTT SALMON, CHET WALKER (whom he assisted during the creation of the TONY AWARD WINNING musical FOSSE), TONY STEVENS, PHIL BLACK, HARVEY HYSELL, and LUIGI. In the last two years, Mr. Hastings has taught or choreographed in OSLO, NORWAY, the BOSTON SUMMER DANCE FESTIVAL, the AMERICAN THEATER DANCE WORKSHOP at HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY and the SUMMER DANCE WORKSHOPS held at VASSAR and OBERLIN Colleges, by the American Academy of Ballet and the Ohio Dance Theatre, respectively. In New York City, Mr. Hastings has also been a guest teacher for AMERICAN BALLET THEATER’S STUDIO COMPANY under the direction of John Meehan, and he has recently held a series of MASTER CLASSES in Rome and Naples, Italy.

Dorit Koppel
(Ballet)

has studied and performed internationally with the renowned Bat-Dor and Bat-Sheva companies of Israel. She received a MFA in Dance from NYU Graduate School of the Performing Arts, after completing a BA in Dance at Sarah Lawrence College. Acclaimed as "Teacher of the Year" by Dance Pages Magazine, Ms. Koppel has classically trained students who now dance with NYC Ballet and Boston Ballet, to list but a few. She coached Kioko Ina of USA Ice Skating team in Monsey, NY, and also developed their ballet program. Mr. Koppel danced with the Wendy Osserman Dance company throughout the USA, participated in workshops and summer residencies led by Jose Limon Company and Alvin Ailey, and has choreographed and appeared in a wide range of works in ballet and contemporary dance. Currently, Ms. Koppel is a member of the ballet faculty at Studio Maestro and Broadway Dance Center in NYC and guest teaches throughout the United States.

Cynthia Murray
(Tap)

Currently on the dance faculty at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in NYC. Ms. Murray is trained in Tap, Ballet, and Jazz and has studied with Dean Barlow, Pat Rico, Joe Tremaine, and the Joffrey Ballet. Cynthia has toured Nationally and Internationally with “42nd Street”, “Cinderella,” and “Hello Dolly,” among others.

(Hip Hop)

When not busy explaining that his name is not spelled “C-U-E” or “K-E-W”, Q can be found teaching his unique style of choreography throughout the tri-state area. He kicked off his career in New York by immersing himself in classes at Broadway Dance Center studying Hip Hop, Funk, Ballet, and Jazz. His dancer/choreographer credits include: Kelis, The Chris Rock Show, As The World Turns, The CBS Early Show, MuchMusic Canada, as well as numerous projects for VH1 and MTV. A graduate of Baltimore School for The Arts, Q often brings a highly theatrical approach to class choreography, oftentimes involving props or partnering. He brings a rich theatrical background to his dances by blending house, hip-hop, acting and Jazz.

Andrey Silantyev
(Ballet)

was born in Moscow, Russia. Mr. Silantyev attended the Moscow Ballet Academy and upon graduation joined the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre as a soloist for 20 years and toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia, South America, Australia, Japan and the United States. His diverse repertoire included major roles in the ballets: Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet and Spartacus. Mr. Silantyev has been teaching classical ballet for over 25 years. He holds two diplomas: a Master of Arts degree in Dance and a Master of Performing Arts degree in Education. Mr. Silantyev has taught at the Moscow Ballet Academy and numerous ballet companies and schools in Russia and the USA.
